There’s lots of online music and choirs using Zoom, YouTube or Facebook Live. Because of the time delay (“latency”) it isn’t possible to hear everyone at the same time, so the host sings/plays and everyone else is muted. You can hear yourself at home but nobody else hears you. With Zoom events there’s usually a chance to unmute for a chat and an open mic session. Participants put comments in the Chat and say where they are from etc.
Gareth Malone – Great British Home Chorus is on YouTube nearly every weekday. You can download the music and eventually upload your own singing, if brave enough! Then the technical people put it all together in one big choir.
Ukulele – The Self-isolating Strummers / Pandemic Pluckers on Facebook run Zoom events every evening starting at 8pm.
The local Llandeilo Ukulele Band are meeting on Zoom on Wednesday evenings. Newcomers can ask to join our Facebook group for more details.
National Theatre Live – https://www.youtube.com/user/ntdiscovertheatre
A different production is broadcast each week. Like many other offerings, this is free but they really need donations to support them.
Royal Opera House – https://www.roh.org.uk/streaming
Some free productions of opera and ballet are available, and others are part of their paid-for programme.
It is also worth looking online at theatre companies abroad for streaming, e.g.

New York Met – https://www.metopera.org/user-information/nightly-met-opera-streams/
